Good evening guys.
So, received my new Ionic today, and have taken a few hours to customise the settings and fiddle about with the bits and bobs to suit me perfectly. The intial setup was a breeze, and I'm finding everything to be in good order - really happy with my purchase 🙂
Just a couple of points if anyone could advise;
1) The GPS - do you find that it takes a fair bit of time to connect? It did for me, but that was only for my first run, so I'll keep an eye on this.
2) Optical HR - have Fitbit amended the settings for this? No 'Auto/On/Off' options as per my Charge HR 2, but it does seem to switch off the LED on its own... has this hardware been 'smartened up' a bit?
3) Auto Run/Run Detect - I assume that these are different to the 'Auto Recognition' for exercises.. Does anyone know what these do if anything different?
4) Windows 10 PC App - I can't seem to set up wallet or Weather apps, I'm assuming that the program needs an update. Anyone else having this issue? I can't be the only person in the world who doesn't use a smart phone.
