Brand new Ionic, wont charge

so basically bought a new ionic yesterday, whipp it out to to charge cause it didn't turn on out of the box, charge all night, screen was showing 0% when I left it and when I woke up it didn't even show that just a black screen. Seems like this is a common problem. As a first product this is pretty garbage unless someone can give me a fix ill be going back to garmin

@Lilsausbaus A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. 

I appreciate that you mentioned your Ionic is brand new. I understand your frustration with this. 

Before creating a case with our Support team, I would like you to confirm that you did this procedure to charge your Ionic. It can take up to 1-2 hours to be fully charged. 

Once it's charged, the first thing that you notice will be "Fitbit.com/setup". This means that you to set up your watch to your account.
