Hi,
I just received my new Ionic. I charged it, updated the software and ready to use. Well, I can't see the BPM in the Ionic or the app. It still says "--". And yes i tried switching it on and off. Also calibration doesn't work, keeps failing.
Also the Screen Awake doesn't work, no matter I put it to Auto or Manual, it just doesn't. I am very dissapointed with this product. Is there any solution for this apart from returning it?

Thanks for the suggestion.
What I am thinking is that I don't see the lights flashing in the back of the Ionic, so I guess that is the problem.
Do you know how to fix it?

As for your turn on problem, it soinds like you might be reffering to Quick View and not by tapping the screen or button.
Have your forearm close to horizontal with the Ionic favoring away from you. Now rotate the wrist 90°. The important thing is I bring the forearm close to horizontal, there is play here, then rotate the arm 90°. It doesn't seem to matter what angle the watch is at, as long as it rotates 90° .

You could restart the tracker, or set it up as a replacement device.

Through the app,
Choose set up a new dwvice
Next screnscwill ask if you want to replace a device or set it up as a second device
Choose the ionic to replace
Follow setup prompts.

Then I would either click on your picture, or where your picture should be in the top right and the contact Fitbit.
Or through the help link below or the help found in the app, then contact Fitbit .

I believe you have to turn the Heart Rate feature on in the Device Settings on the app.
