C25K or other 'run training' app for Ionic?

I have an Ionic on order from Amazon (should be here next week) and I'm looking forward to runs/walks without my smartphone!  One app I LOVE is using C25K (10K, etc) for getting up to speed when out of shape.  Is anything like that available on the Ionic?

Short answer no, not yet. That's not to say one won't be created by a 3rd party developer using the SDK. A C25K app is something I would also like to see.

Yes, please work on something like C25K that works with Ionic! Is there anything else that provides the audio coaching as you run? I need that voice in my ear, telling me when to walk, when to run. I looked at Strava (supported by Ionic) but it doesn't offer this same function. An emailed training plan doesn't cut it. The built in coach function provides timed workout instructions, but again, doesn't give audio queues, right? I have to keep looking at my watch. It would be great if it would talk to me through my Fitbit Flyers!!

While not technically a C25K app you could use Run Goal to accomplish the same thing as a C25K.

It doesn't look like Run Goal has the function I use most, which is the
audio coaching as I'm running, through my earbuds. I still can't find any
Fitbit compatible apps that offer this, and it's what I really need!

I'm with you on this, just bought an Ionic and I'm really looking forward to using it while running, but I do use the voice coaching on the C25K app on my i-phone. Please fitbit developers could you get this off the ground for those of us who need that push !

Has anyone found an option yet? I just purchased mine and realized I would still have to carry my phone for the c25k app. 😞

May have been discussed, but with the C25k app on Ionic, does it track your distance and utilize the GPS? If not, are you able to still use the exercise program simultaneously to capture what you did accurately?
