Hello,
My first ionic had a problem with general notifications (it was the last firmware).
This ionic died suddenly (battery seems to have died).
Fitbit has sent me a new watch.
I use android fitbit app.
Now, i receive all general notifications (sms, app notifications...). But, for call notifications i don't receive them.
I tried several tests:
- if I turn off the watch and restart it, the call notifications are received... Several minutes, and after I, again, don't receive them. When I receive them, it is sometimes with a delay (like someone described in this forum).
- I tried to made a fresh reinstall. Call notifications were received during several hours... And again I started to mot receive them.
- i tried to remove all third party apps and clock face... No result.
- I tried to uncheck and check again call notifications in fitbit app
So, am I alone ? Should I contact fitbit to get a new watch ? (The third)
Or, is it something that is reported ? (I did not see topic on this)

I have managed to set up and get text notifications, however the call notifications do not work. I have checked that the app permissions allow access to the phone and that notifications are turned on but it doesn't work.
My wife also has an ionic and she is experiencing the same issue, can get text notifications but not calls. We have Samsung S7 and S8 phones.
Anybody else had this issue or have a solution?

Ok
I ve found the problem
In the app, go to the ionic and select notifications
Here you can see an option to activate the fitbit widget that help if you have problems with notifications.
Activate it.
It should work after that...
As i had reinstalled the app, this option had been disactivated on my phone.
(I have a s7 edge)
Hope it can solve your problem like it solved mine

I had tested this already and this option was set to on. I even tried re.oving the from the account and the whole app and reinstalling, but still no luck. Thanks for trying to help though.

You are right
I was thinking it was solved, until I receive a call this morning... And no notification on the watch

I think I have found the cause of the problem
In parameters, activate "Nearby device scanning" (connections / more connection settings"
It solved my problem and since yesterday evening I get call notifications
If it works yet during the next 48hours, I would update this post and mark it as solution.

Here is a link in another topic searching for answers as well. My large posting was yesterday... with Images...
Also an overlooked option on the Ionic itself From the clock face screen swipe left to right and you get this.
Also in settings..
