Hey there @DIAZ

Fitbit algorithms are based on your demographics, that's the reason why you see calories burned in the morning, as you know we burn calories all the time even when we're seating still I recommend checking this help article.

If you're getting steps while sleeping I'm wondering if you getup in the middle of the night, or do you move like a lot? Also make sure to have your tracker paired to your account in order to get more accurate information. Check out the setup instructions on this article

Hope it helps!

If I have the ionic unpaired from my account, shouldn't it be showing the fitbit.com/setup message, instead of steps and calores, etc?

@DIAZ

To elaborate on margin's response: with your demographics, fitbit calculates your basal metabolic rate, which is the calories you use to breath, to think, even the ones your heart uses to work. This is the reason of the calories when you wake up: even though they are reset at midnight, they start to count again, and when you wake up, you get to see those calories.

Regarding the steps, it might be due to the movement on your hands while you sleep, though you'd have to move your arms a lot for the ionic to credit you a lot of steps.
