Can I add a new preloaded sport to Ionic?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

There are a few sports already preloaded on the Ionic but I can't figure out how to add a new sport. I paddle (dragon boat and canoe) and I'd like to track my paddling and use GPS to map my distance. I can't seem to find anyway to add a sport to the list.

I’m the same. I roller blade long distance and walking is the closest thing I can find. Endomondo has it but not Ionic!

for the price of this thing, it can be pretty ordinary.

Even walking or hiking isn't an option. I only have run, bike, swim and some workouts and weights. This is a new fitbit for me so I'm not sure about some options.

Yes @kevinapaddler hiking. walking, are in the list of 20 exercises of which 7 may be added.

This is explained in the user manual and the online help .Both of which can be accessed from the help link below or in the Fitbit app.

How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device?

Track specific exercises and save the data to your exercise history.

Thanks for the info. From what I read I see that walking and hiking are the same as running. All the sports are preloaded though and there does not seem to be a way to add sports at this time. I guess I will have to use run to track paddling as there is no better fit.

It's great to have you here @kevinapaddler! Currently, it's not possible to manually add workouts to Ionic. However, you can post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are viewed by our engineers and developers and the best of this is that people can vote and comment on them to show their support.

Thanks for your input @SunsetRunner and @Rich_LaueRobot Happy

Hope I can continue seeing you around.
