I’ve bought my ionic for about 12 months from Amazon and have had nothing but problems. Can I get a refund from Fitbit?

Hi @Jcray ,

Fitbit takes returns for refund on the first 45 days after purchase.

Ooh, a refund from Fitbit when you bought it from Amazon? Not sure that will float. Besides, they will only provide refund for 45 days after purchase.

Thanks for the reply. I wouldn’t know if I didn’t ask.

My mistake for thinking a company would stand behind its product. This device is garbage, I was hopeful.

@Jcray   I think you need to check the date of your purchase -- more or less than 12 months.  Amazon is an authorized retailer.  Your Ionic might be under warranty.  But it must have been purchased from Amazon, "sold and shipped by Amazon", not by a third part seller on Amazon.  If under warranty, you will not get a refund, possibly a discount towards a different product.

More than 12 months and you Ionic is out of warranty.

Than you LZeeW. I purchased my ionic on 2/18/18, likely out of warranty.

Amazon's website says to check with the manufacturer for any issues.

Hello guys! I'm glad to provide assistance. Welcome to our Fitbit Community @SunsetRunner. It's always nice to see you participating in our forums @Jcray @WavyDavey and @LZeeW welcome back! ,My apologies for the delayed reply.

@Jcray I'd like to share with you that if your device is purchased directly from our store, you have a 45-day return window for a full refund just as @WavyDavey and @SunsetRunner advised, you can find more information and details here: Return Policy and Warranty. However, since you purchased your Ionic from Amazon, which is part of our authorized retailers, I recommend you to contact them back to check if you can return the device directly with them for a full refund. At this moment I'm unable to confirm if they will accept your product back because Amazon have their own internal policies.

If Amazon is unable to assist you with your refund request, you can always contact our Support team to receive assistance with the difficulties you're currently experiencing. Thanks for the feedback that was submitted.

@WavyDavey @SunsetRunner @LZeeW Thanks for the information that was shared, I'm sure that your posts will be helpful for other users.

I'll be here if you need anything else.

Hey Ricardo,

Just saw that I had notifications this morning since I was searching on the PC due top a new issue with my app. (The Charge 3 is working great since the firmware update).  The Dashboard is missing items or icons. Sleep and Resting Heart Rate icons and Stairs and Activity progress dials no longer show up on my app.

I am using Windows 10 Phone Fitbit app Version 2.43.1955 (63536) that updated on 7/24/19.

All that info shows up on the webpage.

Hello again @SunsetRunner, thanks for your post. It's a pleasure to continue assisting you.

Seems odd that some of the icons in your Fitbit app dashboard are missing, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this? Also, the icons that were not mentioned in your post are working as usual? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

  1. Log out from your account
  2. Force sync the Fitbit app
  3. Make sure that everything is up to date
  4. Reboot your Windows 10 mobile device
  5. Log in to your Fitbit account
  6. Let me know if the issue persist

I'll be looking to your reply.
