Can I have two Ionics in the same Fitbit account?

I have two ionics, one for sport and one for smart. Can you have them both working in the Android Fitbit app, when i try to add the second one it only gives the option to replace.

If not is there an alternative app that people recommend?

You can only have one of each model connected at the same time. This, and other restrictions for multiple trackers on an account, is documented at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1715.htm

There's no way round that limit I'm afraid and I don't think you can use any other app other than the official fitbit app to sync your data.
