Hello,
Currenly I have a Charge2 and I am thinking of having a Ionic. However, looking at the forums and reviews I am really not happy with the battery life, uploading of music and connectivity with other Bluetooth headphones. If I buy an Ionic and a better device is released this year will I be able to upgrade to that device?
Hope someone can answer,
Mihai

Sorry, but there are no upgrade options. You would pay full price.
Note, Fitbit usually upgrades models on 2 year cycles if that helps.

From my experience battery life is pretty good. I know people have posted about poor battery life but I often wonder how much of that is to do with 3rd party apps and watch faces.

@MihaiNegru Agree with @N8teGeeThe Ionic is an excellent device and have had it since release in October 2017. I tend to get 5 days out of mine with no issues provided I'm not excessively using GPS or any of the apps I have installed.

I wouldn't worry too much about the battery life, unless you plan on having it connected to your phone or headphones all day. Mine can usually last about a week, but I don't have it connected all the time.
