Can not add to my account...?

I got a new Iconic today.

I now tried with my Mate 10 Pro, a Fire HD 10 tablet and a Windows 10 Laptop with Bluetooth... on all devices I see the same behaviour:

- I can start to add the Iconic to my account

- It is found via BT (sometimes the connection with the numbers entered needs two tries, but then is ok)

- I setup the wifi network

Then the display of the Iconic shows a white/gray fitbit logo.

Then the app tell me that I need to do a firmware update. This always fails... and in the progress the Iconic starts to show the blueish fitbit logo together with the message to go to "fitbit.com/setup" in order to start setup. From this point on a BT connection is never again established to the clock. It seems to forget all BT connections and just start over.... Why???

In my account there then is a Iconic, but it can not be connected or synced or updated (firmware)... Any help? I tried a factory reset, but it happened just the same...

Best regards,

Garfonso

Have you been trying to setup through WiFi or Bluetooth? Earlier today there was a banner stating tht wifi wasn't working.

Please try bluetooth if WiFi fails .

Hi,

yes, I saw the banner in the evening. Originally I did try both Wifi and BT. But BT always is a bit unstable with the Mate 10 Pro... and after a few retries it did manage to update the Firmware with the Windows 10 Laptop (using BT) and now everything works, even with my Mate 10 Pro (as good or bad as the other Fitbit devices).

Thanks for your reply.
