Hi I've owned an Ionic for some time now. Ever since the last update things started to act strange. Today I tried syncing my Ionic manually. I noficed it hadn't synced since march 27th although it's set to sync continuously.
I tried rebooting the Ionic, my smartphone, did some research and did some further troubleshooting. Unfortunately I wasn't able to restore the connection so I set my ohone to forget the device, started reconnecting. After a few seconda I was prompted with a message asking me to give the 4digit code displayed on the Ionic. I did this several times but this is where everything stops. I never regained connection, am stuck at this point during this stage the fitbit does not display anything on the screen even when pushing buttons on the side.furthermore the screen started to display strange bands that look like a distorted image from a 90s tv without signal.
I had too much issues with the connection between my fitbit and my android lately to continue to use this device. Is there anyone out there that has had similar issues and has found a solution?
Fwiw I tried several troubleshooting steps from other posts.
Thanks in advance!
Wouter

Hi @WouterNrs, by any chance, were you trying to do the FW update at all over the past few days? If so, please put the Ionic on the charger, with the charger connected to a computer. Sometimes the Ionic has issues like this when completing the FW update.
You could also try a complete factory reset by pressing all three buttons at the same time.
Also, could you please tell us what clock face you have? Sometimes clock faces cause the Ionic to act up as well. I have a clock face made by Fitbit so I've never experienced this, but I've read about others having issues similar to this because of the clock face they chose.
