Can't download Fitbit Connect to Mac to transfer music to Ionic

I'm trying to transfer music onto my Iconic and I need to download Fitbit Connect to my Mac. On the  fitbit.com/setup page I click on the download Fitbit Connect and it takes me to a page where I have to click a link which goes back to fitbit.com/setup.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Andyatlossie.

Thank you for sharing the details of the issue you’re experiencing. I recommend confirming the steps to transfer music to your watch at How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch? Do you experience the same issue if you're using this link to download Fitbit Connect for Mac?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hi @Andyatlossie. Did you ever get this to work?

Hi @LiliyaFitbit, I have a similar issue, except rather than being caught in a page redirect loop, the Mac download link produces this error:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

</HostId>
</Error>

This happens on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on Macs running 10.9.5 and 10.15.7 as well as on an iPhone (iOS 14.4.2). Is there a mirror site somewhere where Mac users can download the software? From the forums here it seems that this has been an issue for Mac users for a while.

Thanks!
