I have searched and found no solutions for this specific issue I am having. I understand people are having issues pairing Apple Airpods but they didn't realize the white button on the back...
I understand how to pair my airpods so I know about the white button, I have pressed it, the light on the inside is flashing white like it is searching, I search Audio Devices on my Ionic and it finds my Airpods and then it will just spin saying 'Pairing Airpods and nothing will happen, been trying for hours.
I have restarted my Ionic 3 times.
I have disconnected my phone from my airpods.
I have tried pairing with my phone away from me, my phone turned off and my phones bluetooth not on at all.
I have successfully paired my Ionic with my Beats Pill speaker so the issue is with the Airpods themselves?

Wipe out your ionic to factory settings and reinstall it. Worked for me after trying out all else.

I recently purchased a fitbit versa for my wife. I couldn’t load the software onto a apple minimac computer until I purchased a dongle off of eBay (the mini mac has a wireless keyboard and mouse that is connected via Bluetooth). Once the dongle was installed, I could load music from itunes to the fitbit from the minimac. Now I am having problems getting airpods to pair with the fitbit. I seen a posting from someone with similar issues, and the answer given was fitbit was aware of the problem but it was dated 6/2018. Anything new to suggest?

Has this problem now been solved by Fitbit? I can no longer pair Air Pods to my Ionic, though it will find them (and used to pair with them).

I chatted with fitbit support today...the final solution provide by them? use different headphones 😕 Obviously there is a problem between ftibit and ionic and they have no intention of fixing it.
