Hi Raj,
Have you completed the setup steps for your watch? The adidas edition isn't greatly different to the standard Ionic watch in terms of usability and software. The default watch face should be the adidas version which I have read is unique only to the adidas Ionic. Also, there should be an app on the watch called 'Adidas Train' (or something similar). If you can see either of those then you seem to have set it up fine.
Apart from that, I'm not sure what makes you think it's not setting up properly?

Why do you think it is changing to the default Edition?

Hi yeah i tried 6 times picking the adidas device during the set up process...it just ends up showing the standard option...the clock face is standard and the adidas trainer is missing too

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Raj75! Thanks for already troubleshooting this setup inconvenience with your Ionic Adidas edition, nice way to go!
My friend @Sheldoreo is right, to set up Ionic Adidas edition in the Fitbit app, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your watch. Note that you must first select Ionic, then select Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition as your device. For more set up instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Have you also checked if the mobile device you're trying to setup your Ionic with is included in our list of supported devices? If so, have you checked that the app is up-to-date (iOS, Android)?
If you keep having difficulties setting up your tracker, I'd recommend taking a look at the article Why can't set up my Fitbit device?. If the Fitbit Ionic: Adidas edition option is not showing up, please send me a screen shot of the options you have available so I can go from there.
Sorry to hear you returned your Fitbit Ionic @Crownj. What was the issue you had?
Thanks for helping out @Cantryboy!
Hope this helps, let us know the outcome!

Hi my device is supported and I have the latest software version on my S7 edge.
I selected the Adidas version (around 6 times now!) And each time once the set up has completed it has always ended up defaulting to the standard interface not the Adidas one.

Raj, the same is happening to me. I have IOS latest version. Each time I try again I get the regular ionic version installed, even though I click on the Fitbit ionic Adidas to install....has anybody has a suggestion? I was chatting with the fit bit customer service, however they were not big help

Hi there....I sent pictures of the screen etc to Fitbit....they asked me to return the watch back to them after which they will replace it...is yours under warranty?
Im on android but I don’t think it will make any difference....
is is there some software issue which is causing this?

Still haven't got a definite answer from them. I guess probably they will ask the same for me. I bought it on amazon so I suppose I have warranty! good to know they are willing to fix the issue!

It's bad that this can happen. I hope you both manage to sort it somehow.
I wonder how many people have bought the Adidas edition, encountered this issue, but have not actually realised it? And are now walking around with an expensive watch but with the default Ionic setup.

Same exact issue here. If I don't find a solution soon, I'm sending mine back to Amazon.

I got mine June 7th, same issue, 3 resets so far and no customer service reply as to a solution. no offer to replace either. My support ticket is still open for a week now!
