I've just received my new Ionic, but I'm unable to set it up through the app on my phone (android - Samsung Galaxy S8, latest version of App).
I have unpaired my previous device (surge), removed it from my account, then when i go to my account page and click set up new device, it asks which device you'd like to set up. I click on Ionic, then click on the setup my device option. Instead of doing anything, it just sends me back to my account details page.
I've tried resetting my phone, turning bluetooth off and on, but nothing, just the same result over and over. I don't know who does testing for FitBit, but it seems like everything they do is riddled with bugs.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I managed to resolve by using a previous version of the App.

Oh - i should have added - i managed to setup my Surge again through the app - so it seems the issue is only when trying to connect an Ionic.
