Can't transfer music on Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have followed the procedure multiple times but I cannot get music to sync to my device. Once I get to the part where my PC (Windows 10) tries to connect it just sits there with the message saying "Looking for your Ionic...".  Both devices are on the same Wifi network.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Is this a known bug?  Is there anyway to work around this?  This procedure seems to be a bit ridiculous.

I went on to google and searched for it. When you click on the page there is a bit underneath where it says download in App Store, it says "download in windows"  Click on that and it should download, hopefully, and go in from there. The screen once in the app should look like the photo attached. Once in, click on manage my music and then it will search for your device.

I've live chatted with them three times and emailed...NOT helpful. they just repeat everything I've read in their website FAQ's over and over.... and it's not helped. I keep (finally) getting 50 songs to transfer and then it disconnects. SO frustrated with this investment. Several features do not work most of the time.

Same here. This was a huge investment for me. Single, epileptic mom working at a non-profit... This was a treat to myself AND I thought it could help monitor things that affect my epilepsy such as sleep. But it doesn't work for that even...I get an error almost every morning that it couldn't give me detailed sleep info because it couldn't keep connection on my heartrate.. it doesn't wake easily despite having the auto raise to wake on, and the music transferring is NOT working. I have grown so frustrated that I want to cry.

Hi,

I got same issue with you, but just today I can solve it by

1. turn off bluetooth my mobile.

2. turn on wifi hotspot and let fitbit connect and ionic connect with mobile wifi.

3. follow step that fitbit suggest then I can transfer a music in a min.

So, I think problem is ionic can't connect to laptop because wifi problem.

Hope this will help you.

After 3 hrs of troubleshooting via Fitbit support, they finally gave up and told me to ask for a replacement product from the retailer. I will keep on asking for a brand new replacement until I can get a refund. This product is absolutely rubbish!
