I was wondering if the fitbit company can get past information such as messages. Can they read my messages or gmails???

Hi,

Interesting question though. If a message (notification) is on your watch it could (technically)  be synced to the Fitbit servers without you knowing it. No passwords needed. I guess they are not interested, but if they want to they could I guess.

Why would they read your Gmail?????????? And no unless they have your password

I'm sure they can see message you send using that feature if they wanted. But why would they do that unless you were reported as doing something wrong??

Any public website could do this if the choose to.

They would need your login info to your email and messaging accounts.

Yes it is technically possible for Fitbit to read/store incoming notifications, but it's highly unlikely they would, they would also be limited to the first few lines or whatever is shown in the notification (Not a lot). I guess it's like asking if Google/Apple can see your incoming notifications.
