Can you have two fitbits on?

Is it possible to use two Fitbits at the same time? What does that do to tracking stats if so?

You may have multiple Fitbit trackers paired to your account (provided they're different models).  When the trackers sync, Fitbit will collect the data from the tracker that is active.

If you're wearing two of them at once, then it's anyone's guess which tracker Fitbit will interpret as the active one.  You may end up with the smaller of the two figures, but it won't be the sum of them.

Yes and no. The real answer is: "Why the hell would anyone wear two trackers?" And you are probably right in that. Just trying to see what my options are.

This is certainly doable if you carry two phones to sync the individual devices, but again why do that

Fitbit enabled the use of different model trackers on one account because there are legit scenarios.  For instance, if you have a desk treadmill at work (I do), you'd do a lot of walking without moving your wrists.  Most Fitbit trackers won't register these steps, but the One, Zip and Flex 2 (in pendant) will, but what if you also want the notifications from wearing the Ionic?

The same would be true about activities where you'd walk but wouldn't move your wrists much (like pushing a cart, stroller, wheelchair, etc.) or where you'd move your wrists while standing still (such as a cashier or barista).

@Cal_2010, you don't need to carry two phones if you pair both trackers (different models) to the same account.  The one phone will sync all paired trackers.
