Can you read the whole WhatsApp message on your Ionic?

I am receiving WhatsApp notifications on my ionic but wondered if it’s possible to read the whole message on my ionic too?

It's great to see you on the Community @Vickyc112! Yes, you're able to read the WhatsApp message on your Ionic. You just need to tap on the message once you receive it and you will be able to read it.

Thanks Silvia, but still

no joy! I’ve been through the instructions and am pretty sure I’m following them correctly but I still can’t view the whole message, only the notification. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks for getting back @Vickyc112! It's pretty weird that you're still only getting the notification and not being able to view the whole message. I would like you to delete the notifications and then try the whole procedure again.

If you're still not getting the whole notification, please provide me with a picture of what you're seeing on your Ionic.

Please note that with the new Fitbit OS update 2.1, Notifications are now removed from the Versa/Ionic once you open the conversation in your phone. This is expected behavior and not an issue.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. I can click on a message notification when I receive one, but I cannot see the whole message and there is no option to reply. The only option is to press clear.

Is anyone able to help?

@Westy22 Thanks for the details mentioned. 

Sorry for the delayed reply. I would like you to make sure you've tried this procedure to set quick replies in your Ionic. If after this you're still not able to use quick replies, please let me know if you're trying to reply to text messages or WhatsApp messages and if you used to see the whole notification and now you're not seeing it.
