Can you setup wifi on Ionic using fitbit base station (from a flex)?

I sync the Ionic using fitbit base station to older machine running win 10

 

Works fine for updating data on multiple devices and users on the one pc

 

But when I click on the wifi setup option it says it cannot find the device

"we were unable to find or connect with your device"

 

Any ideas?
