Can you use Ionic in a chlorinated pool

I bought the Fitbit ionic because it tracks swimming before I use it for swimmers I just want to know if it will not break if it’s in the chlorinated pool

No problems so far in gym swimming pool. Afterwards, I rinse it thoroughly in fresh water. as I do when I have it on in salt water. On other watches I have used, after time, chlorine and Salt water have dulled all surfaces, so now it's a fresh water bath every time.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To answer your question and adding more information to @Hijak's post, you can use your Ionic device in a chlorinated pool or open waters with no problem at all, your device is swim proof up to 50 meters. To learn more about swim tracking, I suggest you to check the information that's specified on our help article: How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device? I've used my Ionic several times in pools and lakes with no issues at all.
