Cannot add credit card to Ionic

Hi Silvia,

I've just had my Fitbit replaced under warranty (home button had stopped working) and while trying to add my card (that used to work fine with Fitbit Pay before) I am also getting the same error as others on this page, e.g. after the conditions from the bank come up, the app says 'Adding Payment Card' and then displays the error 'There was an error adding this card to Fitbit Pay.  Please try again...'.  I've deleted and reinstalled the app, removed the Ionic and reconnected, turned Bluetooth on and off, tried with Wifi or mobile data, all with the same error.  I'm using an Ionic with an iPhone 8 and iOS 14.4.1

Thanks for your help

Roger

Hi,
Till date I still cannot resolve the problem. A little disappointed with Fitbit on this matter. It was fine on my previous Ionic.

@roger_d @MarioAu @Koei01 Hi there. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I've moved your posts to this thread, in an effort to keep the forums organized.

I see where your disappointment is coming from. Please confirm you've tried the following troubleshooting:

- Restart your Ionic and phone

- Restart Bluetooth on your phone

- Force quit the Fitbit app

If the troubleshooting mentioned above has been performed, please get in touch with our Support team

Hope this helps.

In case anyone is looking at this with the same problem - the way it was fixed in the end was to do remove the Fitbit from the iPhone bluetooth setting and from the Fitbit app, and then do a full factory reset of the Ionic (press all three buttons then release the bottom right button when the Fitbit logo disappears, and then release the other two button when the device buzzes).  Had to set it up again, but then getting the Fitbit Pay to work was OK.
