Cannot answer/deny calls on Ionic

Hello all, I currently own a Fitbit Ionic, which is paired with an iPhone SE. Starting recently, I have not been able to answer or deny calls from my Ionic. When I receive a call, my Ionic buzzes and shows the normal call screen with the green answer button and the red deny button. When I try to press the side buttons or use the touchscreen to answer (or deny), the screen goes away like it normally would, but the call keeps on ringing on my iPhone.

 

Any suggestions?

Sorry answered in error. I dont know anything about iOS phones!

I have been able to answer calls in the past seamlessly. Perhaps it is something with the new update?

I've never tried pressing the button, next time I'll try. I simply tape the icon on the ionic face.
