Cannot download strava to my Ionic

I couldn't get strava to run on my Ionic so I tried uninstalling the app from my phone and re-installing it. However, i cannot get the app back on my watch.

I'm surprised at the issues I'm having with the watch already. I also can't get wallet to work either. Very frustrating

@marmstrm Sorry for your issue. Have you tried to install a different app? This to verify if the problem is related to Strava or is a more general one.

For the wallet app I pass as I don't use it.

Thanks for your reply. I managed to get the app back on my watch. I still
was not able to sync strava on my watch to the app on my phone. Now it
seems to be connected. I don't know why but I'll take it!
Can you start recording with strava from your watch or does it have to be
initiated from the strava app?

Great you made it @marmstrm.

As you probably have already noticed the Strava app on your Ionic is just a viewer of your recent sessions but this is not a problem. In fact, assuming you already linked your Fitbit and Strava accounts together, you can track your session with the Fitbit app Exercise on your Ionic. At the end of your run and upon synchronization of your Ionic with your smartphone the session will be automatically sent to Strava and then back to the Ionic for visualization. Yes it looks a bit complicated but, once you set it up, it works very well.

So, no need to start your session on your smartphone Strava app, you can live it at home and enjoy your run smartphone free!
