The fitbit app kept crashing when I tried to open it. So I uninstalled an re-installed it. Now when I try to login to the app it just sits and waits on the "Please wait..." screen. Will not let me login. Tried restarting phone and device and it did not help.

After yesterdays app update, I have the same problem. I noticed that after the app updated from the play store, I wasn't receiving notifications on my watch, when I looked at the app, it had crashed, and would keep crashing everytime I restarted it. I cleared the cache and date, and it would not let me log back in....it just sits there and spins.

So I just received an email from Fitbit:
"As we further investigate, we confirmed that your Samsung Note 10 plus is not oon our list of compatible devices for Fitbit."
This is absolutely unacceptable. My Note 10 plus worked with the Fitbit application as recently as YESTERDAY. Now I am being told that it isn't supported. Unbelievable. If this is the case I will be permanently leaving Fitbit for another smartwatch since overnight and without warning my Fitbit Ionic is no longer usable.

That is not the reason why this is happening...
When they get enough complaints they will realize that they created a problem with the last update, and maybe fix it in a timely fasion.
This used to work on my Samsung S10+ and my new Samsung S20 Ultra until yesterday...

I agree and realize that this was a generic response from them which made me pretty angry.
I did get it to work again however. I signed up for the Beta version of the application to be able to see new features. I deleted the application, went into the app store and removed my beta tester status. I then downloaded the normal version of the application and it worked. I won't be updating the application anytime soon in case they break it again.

OK, I just did the same, uninstalled the beta and re-installed the regular one and it is working again.
