Cannot update my apps in ionic fitbit

I cannot update the apps in my watch

For example I have old app for alarm recently there was an update, it includes smart wake option. I still don't have it and when I get to app info it doesn't propose me to update it however it is clear that I have an old version (last update in 2018)

Normally you should see an update notification. 

Also while charging the ionic, if it attaches to your homes WiFi the tracker will look for app updates. 

Another thought would be to remove the app and install a fresh copy.
