Hi there FitBit team
I made the mistake of logging a food plan today without realizing that you are unable to restore default settings to show basic cals in vs cals out. I am now stuck with either the food plan OR entering a manual calorie goal for the day, which I do not want to do.
I would very much like to restore the default nutrition settings where it only shows cals in vs cals out on the chart and cals in is always highlighted in blue.
Being stuck with a calorie goal of any kind, particularly one that shows as "over" (pink line) is super triggering for those suffering from disordered eating (myself included!) and I believe it is the responsibility of the FitBit developers to come up with a fix for this issue. Having searched a number of forums, it seems that this has been an ongoing problem since as early as 2014 and continues to persist.
Could someone advise here? Surely there is a way to remove both the food plan and the manual goal and reset to default without having to do a total factory reset and lose all other metadata?

@Marvi434 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for your inquiry about the food plan and calorie goals.
I'd suggest trying to delete your weight goal and body fat goal. You can do this on the Fitbit app by following these steps:
This should remove what the food plan did. I believe this should be useful for what you are looking for. This is how it looks like:
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

@SantiR I tried to remove both the weight and body fat goals, however listed under "food" it still required me to either manually input a calorie goal OR go on the food plan (neither of which I want to do)
I tried setting the food goal to zero but it prompts me to enter a value between 1000 and 5000
Surely there is a simple way to restore back to default settings (no food plan/no calorie goal)?

@SantiR the issue here is the value judgement that comes along with having a calorie limit
I still want to use the app to track cals in vs cals out but when the app requires that you set a calorie limit and then indicates on the graph if you are "in zone" (green line) or "over" (pink line) this can trigger problematic thinking/tracking for some people. Seeing a pink line automatically triggers a feeling of "failure" when really I might only be 200 or so cals over for the day, and this fails to take into account that I had a total deficit of 300 for the previous day.
