Hi All,
I have recently purchased the Fitbit Ionic and attempted to add a credit card to Fitbit Wallet using the Android app. This completed successfully with verification code received from Commonwealth Bank of Australia which is a supported bank listed on Fitbit website. The status of this card in my mobile wallet states that it is Active on Ionic, however when I long pressed the left button on my watch, it does not shows up any card, just stating that "Pay with Ionic" To start, add a card in the Wallet section of the Fitbit mobile app.
Did I missed a step in the configuration? Tried re-installing the apps on Android, logging out and in on mobile apps, factory reset the Ionic, unpair and pair ionic from phone, none of these works and I am still unable to pay with my Ionic 😞
Phone: Sony Xperia Z5 running on Andrid 7.1.1
Fitbit Ionic Version: 27.25.16.7
Bank: Commonwealth Bank of Australia

Well, with all due respect, if it's not supported and you know it's not supported, you hardly have cause to complain when it doesn't work.
The number of different types of phones running Android is massive and they all have their own take on Android. There will be phones where Fitbit software just doesn't work.

So I managed to get it to work on my unsupported Android device. Unfortunately, it may be hard for some to replicate my solution because it required a second fitbit pay compatible credit card.
Here's what I did:
I had a capital one card (the one I wanted to use with fitbit pay) verified and sitting in my wallet. That's the one that would not push to the Ionic.
I added a Bank of America card to the fitbit wallet. The verification is virtually automatic if you use a text message to verify. Fitbit received the text message, the bank of America card got pushed immediately to the Ionic.
I then removed the capital one card from the wallet and went through the painful process of verification after adding it back. That requires a phone call to cap one as it doesn't allow for any other form of verification. Once you spend the time on the phone, they send a verification code. I waited for about 3 minutes and refreshed the wallet in the fitbit app and it showed the cap one card as verified . . . But it still didn't push to the Ionic.
The next thing I did was to make the cap one card the default card AND IT PUSHED IT! I then removed the bank of America card entirely and it deleted it on the Ionic leaving me with what I wanted all along: the capital one card on the Ionic.
So, it is possible but it took a ton of trial and error to get it working. I really do believe it is the disjointed verification process that causes the problem. The BofA process is all done within the fitbit app and I had zero issues with it immediately pushing.
Oh, and I've already used it at the store and it works perfectly.

Thanks! Adding a card fixed it for me!
