Changed watch face cause no notifications to show

Now not receiving phone names on people calling in or text messages. Have Samsung 8 +

@Spann Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I was checking the list of supported devices and the Samsung 8 + is not listed there. However, notifications could still work properly. 

 

Have you tried changing the clock face back to the one you had before?

 

Also, try performing a restart on your Ionic. If after doing this it is still not working, please try these troubleshooting steps for notifications. This has helped other users in the past.

If I go back to my old watch face everything works perfect. I like this watch face but cannot get it to work. Tried restart. Will give it another hour to see if it works. If not I will go back to the old watch face

I too has this problem on my iconic. I changed the clock face but then only received email notifications but not text messages.  I changed it back to the original face and it works fine.

@WLA76 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing your experience on this thread regarding notification on Ionic.

 

It is possible that some third party clock faces will prevent some notification from coming in. I'm glad they started to work properly after changing it back to the original clock face. I'm sure this will be helpful for other users who might be experiencing this as well.

 

I will leave the steps on how to change the clock face on the Fitbit watch here so other users may try this workaround to sort this out.
