Just recently I have found that it takes over 4 hrs to charge my ionic. I am using the same usb wall charger like before. And to top it all off my ionic lasts less than 24 hours. This is a real problem for me. What can i do? Is my ionic dead?? When it is fully charged again today i will connect it to the app for data review.

So this morning I put my ionic back on the charger and this time it only took about 2 hours to charge. I have synced it with the app. I sure hope that my ionic is not defective.

What clock face do you use? I had some problems with some clock faces, they were draining the battery.

Never used that one, but I recommend you to use a standard one (made by Fitbit) for a couple of days, see if you encounter the same problems! And after changing the clock face, do a restart of the Ionic.

@Omerta I have stuck to the Nautical Clock Face.. Battery life is 71% after 3 full days.. No GPS or Music in that. I charge at about 25% battery level. Others with battery experience are suggesting we should not wait until it is nearly exhausted and then don't fully charge. I'm no expert on that.

@Neogecko, maybe they updated the clock face and the problem is after that update...

@Colinm39, I charge it when I know it wouldn't hold a charge for another gym session, that means even 30% battery a night before I go in to the gym. I don't think it's relevant when you charge it, because when you transfer music or update, you have to plug it in, so I don't think that anyone waits until it's on low battery to do those things, just not to "ruin" the battery.
The battery life you "squeeze" from your Ionic, I think it's impressive! Do you have the heart rate monitor activated? Because 3 days and still 71% is incredible!

Are you sure you are charging it correctly?
See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
