Hi all I have been following the thread on everyone having charging issues with their Ionic. I run my charge cable from a 10w iPad charger with no problems until this morning. Got the old "this power source is not up to scratch " warning. Anyway I tried a another cable with no luck but then I tried this still plugged into the iPad charger.
It came with one of the Ionics I bought last week and it worked straight away. I'm not sure what the issue is with this charging problem it seems to be very hit and miss. I'll keep working at it and keep you posted.

Ok an update from this morning. I went and bought some contact cleaner and cleaned contacts on the Ionic and the charge cables then tried to charge the Ionic with the 5W iPhone charger and the 10W iPad charger, both gave me the insufficient power to charge error, I tried two seperate cables on each one, one was brand new with no luck
I then used the dock station, mentioned in my earlier post wth both the iPhone and iPad chargers, both worked?
Who knows, maybe the supplied cables are crap, all I know is I'm off to eBay to get anonther desktop charger. Good luck everyone.
