Completed update to OS2, fell asleep with 80% battery, woke up with 0%

The update went smoothly, the watch rebooted, and I went through it's tutorial.  I checked the battery level (80%) and poked around on the watch a bit, then went to sleep.

Wake up this morning to 0% battery.

Hopefully this is a fluke...

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! This is very strange. Thanks for sharing this battery situation here. Also, thanks for updating Ionic to its latest OS.

I'd recommend charging Ionic to its fullest and checking if this happens again. It shouldn't happen, however, keep an eye on it!

Also, please perform a restart on your Ionic. This is always good to try when experiencing inconsistencies.

Additionally, please check this helpful article about batteries draining quickly and how to increase the battery level by usage. It is very helpful information to take into consideration.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if this situation persists.

Thank you for the reply. So far, there haven't been any more battery or other issues. Still no idea what caused the battery drain but I'll keep an eye on it.

My battery has been one of the real positives since I got my Ionic last year, but today on my first run after the 2.0 update, I pulled my ionic out of the charger at 100% and hit the trail.  At mile 6, about 45 minutes into the run, Ionic is dead and showing 0% charge.   Really bummed.  Going to reset and recharge, but on an 18 mile run that really ruined my day.

Additionally, when I plopped the purportedly 0% device into the charger, it STARTED charging at 56%.

That is a total bummer. I can say that my similar experience, so far, was a one time event.
