I have already transferred music onto my ionic. When I driving, I do not wear headsets for obvious safety reasons. I am aware that Ionic does not connect to car audio system via bluetooth (seen multiple posts on this already and also tried it 😞 ). I would love to play music that is on my Ionic when I am out driving in mountains. Is there a way, I can play the music on my ionic with my iphone acting as audio output? I can control music played on iphone via ionic, but that is not what I am looking for. Or do I need t buy an external bluetooth audio speakers and place in my car to play the music?

@SunsetRunner try this.
Turn your phones bluetooth off to keep it from connecting to your cars audio.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on the ionic.
Turn the cars audio on and set it to bluetooth.
Now on the ionic, choose the car audio.
The ionic should then hook up to the radio in the same way the phone or heashones do.
I have successfully hooked my ionic to my car radio as well as my brothers radio.
The radio is only acting as another Bluetooth audio receiver and should not have a problem connecting
