After working in the garden on a hot day I entered my pool. Checking my time on the watch I noticed the face glass had cracked. There had been no impact. I feel it was the sudden temperature change upon entering the water. I have now been informed this will not be covered under warranty. For a watch advertised as having toughened glass and suitable for pool use I feel this is not good enough. After paying over $400 with extended warranty I now find the warranty useless. Not happy Fit it.

Where was you Extended warranty purchased at? If not here then you need to get with the place you bought it from.
Otherwise if here then contact them again and make sure too let them know there is an extended warranty

The watch is under 12 months old and as such is still under original warranty. I am just mad that the money now paid for the extended warranty is also wasted. Fitbit has offered me 25% discount on a new watch but I would be in the same position if the glass cracked on it. Just no confidence in product.

Have some problem with my new Ionic. 25% discount is not the answer!
