Crazy number of steps this morning.

My step count is typically under 10,000 in a day. Total for yesterday was 4,537. Fitbit sent me an Olympian Sandal badge this morning for achieving over 100,000 steps in a day. The current steps show 132,106. The odd thing is it was charging for a few hours this morning.

 

I have had this Fitbit for a year and have never had an unusual step count.

 

What's going on here? Maybe something happened when charging?

Hi @PNW_John,

 

Was the device near anything that could possibly be vibrating when it was charging?  I've heard stories of folks charging their devices near fans and whatnot and then getting those unusual step counts.

I read that too... but no. Was on the counter in the kitchen. No fans.
