Is there anyway to have your own custom watch face? Where you can choose what you want to display on the watch face and sizes etc?

Look at Clockfaces on the app.

Just in case you guys at fitbit forgot, the ionic is mainly a fitness watch, and I would put my money on most people putting the value of viewing their heart rate even over the time of day... Did you guys forget that some of us are in our 40's and can't see the freaking small as hell heart rate reading near the clock face? I downloaded the last clock face in the app store, the one with the heart rate at the bottom and it's larger than most but still TOO DARN small..
Please fitbit, take into consideration us older people that need reading glasses.. Could you at least design one clock face where the clock is smaller than the heart rate? Or better yet, leave the time off all together???? If the heart rate was just double the size I would be good to go... By the way, I do love seeing the heart rate on the clock face, I've wanted that forever, now please make one with a bigger text because I have to keep it about 15 inches from my face to see it anyway and once it's that far away the text is too small.... And for the record, I still have 20/20 vision, it's just close up reading that is out of focus... You guys are on the right track but we need a bigger heartrate reading on at least one clock face...
My wife, my mother, and my buddy Tom all couldn't see the heart rate either on the clock face without reading glasses.. Everyone agreed if it was about double the size we could all see it clearly..

Just sign up for the Fitbit studio and create your own. I did on day 2 of owning the watch. Studio is very cool for customisation 🙂

Does this require coding or is there a simpler way of doing so?

Does require coding but it's very simple, if you just want a basic display there are templates you can use or ask for.

Hi StevieGUK
How do I design my own watch face? Ideally I would actually like to take the "stats" face and modify it slightly. Is this possible?
I would like the time on the left and date etc to be the same as the gauges clock face and then the stats on the right to be in their respective colours, blue for steps, red for heart and orange for calories.
Basically i like the gauges clock face but i want actual number for steps, calories and heartrate instead of circles that fill. If you know how to do this is there anyway you could write the code for me?
Thanks

I agree 100%. This also applies to notifications. Coming from a Microsoft Band 2, I really liked the feature of being able to tap on a text message notification and have it scroll slowly in large fonts on the full screen. Like John Eric I only need glasses to read and if I need to pull out my glasses to read anything on the watch, I might as well pull out my phone.

Agree...A watch face that shows steps, distance, and heart rate, wuthout other info would be great...large text, high contrast, easy to see and read

Maybe silly but I would like to add temp to one of the faces!
