Cycling not tracking the whole activity

I was tracking my cycling which came to 21km. However, the dashboard only recorded a total of 6km for the day. I'm assuming the calories and others are correct. Any idea how to correct this without having to edit manually for this and in the future? Problem seems to be with cycling activity for me. Running seem so to Be ok.

@SilviaFitbit may be right. Do you wear any sort of cycling gloves? It happened to me quite a few times to pause my workout with gloves when bending my wrist. Happened during cycling, during body-weight workouts and also during climbing ( not by gloves but by the way I was holding onto the holds ). The buttons in Ionic are a way to easy to press accidentally. Is that 6km of your track matches when you look at the map? The distance may be off if the GPS went bananas ( this you can see when you look at the recorded map ). However, if you see perfect 6km tracked and nothing after that then I'd say you accidentally paused your activity 😞

A warm welcome to the Community @Crispey! Thanks for the details that you've mentioned. It sounds to me like the exercise paused at 6km and then the summary of it only showed you 6km and not the 21km that you actually did.

In this case, the whole activity was tracked however, since it was paused that's why it's only showing 6km. I would like you to make sure that you don't have the auto pause feature on, this might be the reason why it stopped and it didn't continue.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Hi SilviaFitbit,
Thank you for your reply.
I've checked my that my Ionic has the auto-pause disabled all the while.
Were you able to access my workout that day, to find that it had been
paused at 6km? I wonder if I had manually paused it then, and forgot to
restart it.

Anyway, to sync it so it reflect on the whole day's activity and not stuck
at 6km?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks

Hey @Crispey! Thanks for getting back. No, I'm not able to access your data. I mentioned this to you because you said that it only recorded 6km and not the 21km that you actually did.

In this case, I would like you to restart your Ionic and then try the cycling activity once again.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks @SilviaFitbit and @SunsetRunner I was wearing long sleeves as it was a
cold day. I can't remember if I had manually paused it to be honest. But it
could have been that it was paused some how. Thank you for your feedback!
At least the mystery is somewhat solved. Thanks again!
