Ionic died after 18 months (and a marathon under its belt). Probably my fault wearing it while rock climbing outdoors. Found a replacement on eBay for $80 so I'm up and "running" again.
But what can I do with the dead one? Is there a market for these, or will Fitbit (or anyone else) take it back for parts? Not looking for $ back...just hate tossing electronics in the garbage.

I'm sorry it is not recyclable. They just tell you to throw it away

Best AnswerMine died after 16 months and all Fitbit will do is give me 35% discount on a new one if I buy through their hub. I found a better deal on Amazon. This time I also got extended warranty. The one Fitbit was offering was double the cost of Amazon's and Fitbits warranty requires a deductible if it’s broken.
