Fitbit Update -- 4/3/18: This issue is now resolved.
Hi all.
Just wanted to jump in here to thank everyone who took the time to report that their Deezer playlists were not uploading to Ionic.
Your quick reports have helped our team to implement a fix. You should now be able to upload playlists from Deezer to your Ionic.
If you are still seeing grayed out tracks on your playlist, I would recommend removing your playlists, restarting Ionic and starting from scratch.
If your upload is freezing or failing during the process, I advise putting your Ionic on its charger, move it as close to their router as possible and "Force Sync" to attempt the download again.
For more information on uploading Deezer playlists to Ionic, check out this article.
I hope this information has been helpful! If you continue to have any issues uploading playlists, feel free to let me know!

So, I have deleted all playlists from Ionic, as well as the Deezer app. Restarted my watch and phone, reinstalled and registered for Deezer (new code entered to link accounts). Opened Deezer on phone, browsed and added playlists, went to force sync...tried having watch both on the charger and not on charger. Forced sync a few times because the watch starts to sync and it drops at varying points of sync - it got to 42% yesterday before it stopped. Last night I ran it overnight while I was sleeping, woke up with greyed out, half playlists and an almost dead Ionic.
Any other "fixes"?

Exact same issue driving me crazy! I’m literally sat right next to my router as well!

The newest issue I’ve been having is that every time I charge my watch and then unplug it, it says Deezer update paused. No new songs or playlists added. It just attempts to update but never finishes.

Morning Ionic users.
You never think to come and check the forums before using a new feature. You'd assume it would just work! Anyway...
I've been trying to sync Deezer playlists, successfully started syncing last night while on charge, it failed with no reason. Now every time I go to force sync I get a message saying my device is busy. Is the force sync causing it to say it's busy? That's the only thing it's currently doing.

I ended up syncing a small playlist of liked tracks through deezer, 1hrs worth in total. My sync ended up being through my Fitbit phone app, both phone and fitbit were not on charge. I kept going to the Music app to check and not the actual deezer app. Once opened the app had my playlist saved.
(*ALTHOUGH* This may or may not have synced over night and I may have just missed it because I kept checking the music app.)

I'm experiencing the same exact problem. I hope they fix this soon!

Another method is to use Allavsoft to download Deezer music offline to MP3

Fitbit ionic Adidas Edition: Version 32.10.20
iPhone 6 iOS 12.0
When I try to sync music from Deezer to my fitbit it just freezes at 0%. so I have no music synced. I have bluetooth on and fitbit, phone and wifi all nearby each other
I have looked at the "Deezer not downloading music into ionic" thread and the links in that thread and I have followed all the steps and still the same problem. Can anyone help?

Not helpful. Not a solution. Have reviewed many replies to this "fix" and have found no one -- including me -- who has been able to get Deezer to successfully download playlists to their Ionic. All you get is a grayed out list that does not play. If a person is going to call a fix a "solution" they should make sure it works. What Fitbit puts out as solutions on a major feature of this produce are very unreliable.

Hi @jemf and @jimgilmer, it's nice to see you here. Thanks for your feedback, for all the workaround you have done and all the details you provided. I'll be more than glad to help you.
Could you please confirm if the issue persists? In that case, do you have an error message? The Deezer app on the Fitbit app should be showing under "Media" option. Open Fitbit app > Account > Media < Deezer. You should be able to add music from there. If you keep experiencing the same I'd recommend checking the section called "I'm having trouble activating Deezer" in this article. That could help too.
Also, I recommend to restart the device you're using to download your Deezer's playlist and your Ionic. You can find the instructions here. Then I would recommend to do a test: Download a short playlist, only 10 songs for example.
Keep me posted!

Exactly the same for me, tried for ages, the app shuts down on my mac and Deezer doesn’t work! Losing my temper! It shouldn’t be this hard!

How you doing @Chaimbo? Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thank you for all your efforts trying to make it work.
If you already checked the possible solutions in the other posts I'd recommend to take a look at the article: How do I control music with my Fitbit device?
To better help you I would like to know what is the model device you're using to download your Deezer playlists. This to verify if your device is compatible.
In the meantime I recommend you to;
Give it a shot and let me know if that works. Have a great weekend!

I see that more than a year later, the issue still hasn't been fixed.
I just bought a Fitbit ionic and cannot download Deezer Playlists, the tracks are all greyed out (I even tried with a 10 tracks Playlist) . The download never got higher than 30 % after 2 days of "force sync".
I tried absolutely everything, restarted Ionic, restarted phone, "forgetting" the Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth multiple time, undownloading deezer on Fitbit and installing it again... It got stuck at first at 2% and other random percentage and I had to hit "force sync" about 200 times while the Fitbit was on charger and not. When it got stuck permanently at 30% I tried again, to download the playing from scratch but not it won't even start!
It looks like the Fitbit won't stay connected long enough to the Wi-Fi for anything to download because it stays on maybe 20 sec before disconnecting automatically (my WiFi is good and I'm literally sitting beside the router).
I subscribed to Deezer specifically for the music on Fitbit and it won't even work... What a waste of money and time

Hi, I changed my mac and used a different one and it worked first time. I guess it was a software problem. Music now works just fine. Maybe try a different computer?

No I already tried on 3 different devices, phone computer and tablet and it's not working... Seems like the problem is universal 😣

Yeah this is absolutely ridiculous. How can this be so broken? And for this topic to be marked "Solved" is just a slap in the face. Clearly people are still having this issue. FitBit, get it together.
My problem is exactly the same. Greyed-out playlists, never gets to 100%, etc. What is the answer here?

Im still having trouble with not having all of my tracks downloading to my ionic watch from Deezer. I already tried starting from scratch and I’m only getting some of my playlists to not be grayed out. What should I do next?

Please let us know what you find. I tried contacting customer service last week, they told me they would get back to me after not being able to solve it. Still haven't heard anything...

Might be a fluke but figured I'd share
I forced synched the Deezer playlist from the app without my watch being plugged in. Clicked on the Deezer app on the watch.
-it showed 2% synch, I then plugged my cable and its been downloading since currently up to 35%.& counting.
Currently turned off all notifications & GPS if this makes a difference ?
Will try creating a playlist from my favorites next
