Deleting an activity doesn't update calories out for the day

Hi

I've had to delete some biking and running activities on occasion because I've forgot to end the activities on the ionic.  This obviously makes the calories out inaccurate.

I've noticed there is no way to edit the activity to adjust the time, so I have to resort to deleting it.  But when I delete the activity the total calories put is not updated.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks

Luke

Select the Exercise tile, then select the activity you'd like to edit.

Hi @Luke1976,

The easiest way is if you are using the Win10 Fitbit app, as it will allow you to make adjustments to the start and stop times.

It's a little difficult to describe what's happening, but maybe an example will help.

Let's say you do a bike ride activity and calories burned is 400 with an average heart rate of 130bpm. You delete the activity, but you can't delete the heart rate data, which is the basis for the calories calculation. So whether something is tracked as an activity or not, the heart rate exertion is going to keep the calories burned up regardless.

You can go into the web dashboard at fitbit.com (Log > Activity) and make a manual entry, but you'll need to tell it how many calories burned the activity was. Hope this helps.

Thanks Wavy

I haven't tried win 10 app yet, was just aware it didn't seem possible via android app or the website app.

Thanks
