I work from home on a desk and been using my spinning bike ( cycling gently whilst ) working . I put it under spinning in activity. I burned 271 calories in 48 m whilst cycling gently which seems a lot. Is this right? My other calculations re weight, height etc are all right

Did you record this via the Exercise App while it was happening, or did you manually log it afterward.

If you used the exercise app, calories are based on actual heart rate.  But if you manually logged it after-the-fact, then calories are based on whatever parameters you chose when logging it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I logged it by changing my watch activity on spinning
