Hi .. have an ionic and after an update a few days ago its been playing up no end and last night decided to give up the ghost completely. Has been on charge for 4 hours, totally black screen, no sensor lights, wont restart, wont turn on wont actually do anything .. seems the update has killed it, not very happy at all .. these things arent cheap, and this is the 2nd one ive had die on me...any help would be much appreciated...or maybe its time to switch to apple watch?

If you jumped, I can't blame you. I'm hearing a lot of issues on FitBit platform that are un answered for many days. Might as well go to a vendor that doesn't screw up your perfectly working devices!

Hi @pizzanazi welcome to the forums! Have you made sure that your charger is on firmly? Sometimes mine is slightly ajar and it doesn't charge properly.

@pizzanazi I appreciate all the details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

Hi, have you tried pressing all three buttons at the same time for 30 seconds to force a device restart?
This has been an issue since the last update rolled out on early December.

@pizzanazi left button and bottom right button, after 20 seconds if the logo comes on, then you most likely have a devices that the firmware killed, which means this will be the only way to turn off the watch, which is force restart, which is not proper. If this doesnt work, then try taking a dry toothbrush and brush the contacts on the watch as any dirt or film on the contacts on the watch from wearing can cause it preventing the cable and the watch to make a connection.
