Difference with Ionic Adidas edition

Hi,

Please I wanna know what the difference between the normal Fitbit lonic watch and lonic Adidas . Specially after I compared between both I didn't find in the Adidas one the (Smartphone Notifications)! 

So please I need the right answer because I wanna buy the Adidas lonic .

Hi there @Canadiano, great to see you here in the Fitbit Community. this is a great question if you are looking to buy an Ionic: Adidas edition. I'm sorry for the late response regarding your concern.

The difference with the Adidas edition, is that you will still have the regular features that the standard Ionic offers. However the Adidas edition includes the Train app and the adidas clock face. 

These features are available only on Ionic: Adidas edition.

Just a heads up, I have relocated your post to our Ionic board since, your concern align more with the topics of this board.

So what is the Adidas Train app? Is this a training app like couch to 5k? This is what I'm needing and just realized the Ionic doesn't seem to have an app with audio coaching for people learning to run.

To answer your question more directly: no, you won't have any audio coaching as the Ionic (including the Adidias version) does not have a speaker.

The Adidas Training app is not a running coach but more a set of exercises to be complementary to the running sessions, think about a Coach app (available in the regular Ionic as well) dedicated to running.

My honest opinion is that the Adidas vesion doesn't have much more than the regular version to justify the extra money required for purchase but I love the dedicated band and watchface.

explain more deeply specific please so I can clearly understand. 1.normal Ionic VS adidas ionic both of this which one is better ? Adidas ionic is this correct? 

2. What is adidas app trainer ? You said Addis’s ionic has more special thing than normal ionic (Addidas app) I don’t know what is the name of the app because I search adidas in App Store and I cannot find it . Please explain to me more deeply specific so I can understand

The Adidas version and the normal one are exactly the same. The Adidas has in addition:

1) one specific Adidas clockcface

2) Adidas Train app: as I mentioned above it's a streamlined version of Fitbit Coach with 6 exercise routines such as pre-run activation and post-run stretching

3) One specific band

Can the standard ionic firmware be replaced with the Adidas then as its surely the same watch apart from the firmware?
