Difficulties to download music on my Ionic

I just bough a new Mac desk top and attempted to transfer my music from my computer to my Ionic watch as I have always done in the past.  I could not find the FitBit connect app on any website that would download to my new MAC. So I went to the Fit Bit live chat.  I was told that there was no longer an option to sync your own music or playlist from your computer to the watch. The only means of listening to music now is to use Deezer or Spotify. I am pissed!!!  Why the change?  I could do this previously but now I am blocked from being able to do so. I already subscribe to Apple Music and Amazon Music and don't need another music streaming service. Why has Fit Bit done this and does anyone know a work around????  I can no longer listen to music on my runs or workouts with my watch.

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @APstork.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ionic.

You should be able to transfer your personal music to your Watch by following the instructions in this article in the menu "How do I download playlists to my Fitbit watch?". The Fitbit Connect app can be found at the bottom of this site.

If after following the instructions above you see any error message, please attach a screen shot for further investigation.

Hope this helps.
