Can anyone tell me if they have tried a metal watch band ( amazon has several) for the Ionic? Did you have a problem with GPS connecting?

I always have a problem with GPS connecting ( from a long time to connect to not connecting at all ) regardless of what band I use 😄 GPS should not be affected by a metal band. I've been using for a while magnetic band ( easy to put on, easy to adjust size ) and had no issues. I stopped using it as it had a problem with a clasp connecting to the watch and easily could get detached ( faulty third-party strap, not Ionic ) so I went back to the original one but if not the issue I mention I would probably wear the metal-magnetic one.

I left my ionic on for 20 mins waiting for GPS signal... it just stayed at "searching". I took my metal band off and it connected immediately. I put it back on and it started searching again... Switched to the rubber band it came with and everything has been fine since.
