Does Autotrack Cycling pull GPS data on the Ionic?

I'm on the fence about the ionic. This would a main feature I am curious about. I am terrible about manually starting/stopping workouts/rides. So Smart tracking has been awesome for me. I haven't seen anything about if smart track will pull GPS for cycling tho. Can someone confirm yay or nay?

No, if auto detecting biking the Ionic won’t activate the gps and plot your ride.
