Why the Fitbit Ionic doesn't work when I'm swimming in open water?
Please update the software and include this option.

In swimming pool works perfect, but in open water no.
Watches most simple has the two options, works in swimming pool and open water.

It's great to have you in the Community @ecs2000! Ionic will work only when you are swimming in a pool and not in open water. I've checked our Feature Suggestion board and noticed that this idea is not currently planned, you may want to check it and find the official answer from the Fitbit team.
