Can't seem to find a way to definitively shut down Pandora. There's no way that I can find to stop the app within the app itself. And if I go to any other screen, Pandora continues to play. If I pause the music, Pandora is still running in the background, because If I go back to the app it is still running and paused. How do you shut this puppy down?

@SteelRyder What I recall during the time I used Pandora was that when I tapped the app icon without the headset being on it would not start and gave me a message that I needed to have a headset linked and on. Can you provide more information about your headset status and what you see when you tap the app on the Ionic?

Thanks for the reply. While trying to act out the steps as I am answering your reply, I think I found the solution. With the headset on, if I tap the running app (not on pause or skip, obviously), nothing happens. From the app screen, if I tap the Pandora icon again the music continues to play.
When the music is playing, if I turn off the headset (Mpow Bluetooth 4.0), the app pauses and says "no headphones or speakers connected." If I go back to the clock screen then return to the app screen and tap the Pandora icon, Pandora is sitting at the station selection screen, which seems to indicate that the app had quit and restarted when I tapped the icon.
So it seems that the only way to be sure the app has quit is to turn off the headset. However this is a little inconvenient if you want to switch to Spotify or Deezer. I can't believe there is no way to actually shut down within the app itself.
