After the last update my watch fails to receive any notifications unless my phone is physically on me. When contacting Fitbit they have advised me that the Bluetooth will reach 20 feet but the watch can not pick them up when I am in another room which it used to!

I never had an issue for the year I have had the watch however after the update it now doesn’t work, keeps freezing and is utterly useless as a smart watch. 

 

Im fed up with nobody having an answer to the issue and I’m stuck with a watch which is just a watch. I think I will have to change to apple...clearly they are more reliable as a smart watch. If I wanted a normal watch, I wouldn’t have spent £250 on it.

I am having the same issues. I have had mine for less than a year and after the last update everything has started to fail on it. Yesterday somehow it recorded me as having reached almost 90,000 steps. When I was sick in bed most of it and didnt even do anything on it. 

 

The day before my battery drained from 100% to nothing in less than half of a day, none of the apps were syncing, the notifications didn't show and when they did it was something pretty old. 

 

It is super frustrating considering this is their most expensive watch and it isn't doing what its supposed to. 

 

I have tried everything possible suggested, and I have nothing vibrating around the watch while its charging so I should not wake up to my watch telling me I alread have 6000 steps, or be told that all of a sudden after almost a year of being able to receive notifications anywhere in my home now I have to be in the same room or it won't work, when it never used to do that.

 

If anyone else has found a solution besides getting a replacement, please share.

Notifications don’t work anymore since the update. It always worked great. Not anymore!!!

To be honest I gave up moaning and bought an Apple Watch. I have not been disappointed!! Best choice I made and so reliable!
